GORNIEWICZ - Mr. Edward Andrew Gorniewicz, age 62, a life-long resident of Grand Rapids, departed this life too soon Saturday, July 3, 2010 in Manistee. He will be deeply missed. Surviving are his mother, Alice Ruth Gorniewicz of Grand Rapids; Stephanie Oden, of Manistee, his life partner of 15 blessed years; his daughter, Emily, wife of Adrian Alvarez; son, James Gorniewicz; his grandchildren, Justin and Julian Alvarez; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Naval Reserves. He was active in radio and television since his high school days. His passion was in the field of Jazz music.
