David Nufer

David L Nufer, 82, of Portage, Michigan, passed away October 2, 2024. Born on September 2, 1942, to the late William and Lucille Nufer.

David is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Linda; his children, David and Richard; three stepchildren; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren; and one sister.

He was preceded in death by two previous wives, daughter Dawn Scott, grandson Kyler, two brothers and three sisters.

David had a successful career working for Grand Trunk Railroad. Once retired, he enjoyed taking his time, a good game of cards, relaxing at the campground, fishing, and digging into his ancestry. Although David was a man of a few words, he enjoyed sharing a cold Jack and Coke with friends and family.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A burial will be held at a later date.
