Carmen Elizabeth Frybarger, born February 16, 1978 to Edward and Malinda Frybarger of Kalamazoo went home to our Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Carmen was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a graduate of St. Joseph School and Hackett Catholic Central. She loved her family dearly and truly enjoyed time with family and friends. Carmen was employed at Ascension Borgess. One of many shining examples of her compassion and care for others, she joyfully dedicated seven years of her life to caring for her grandmother, Rose Ellen.

She was a talented baker and greatly enjoyed arts and crafts. She is survived by her parents, Edward and Malinda Frybarger, one brother Gregory (Diane) Frybarger of Battle Creek, and five sisters Sarah Beilby, Elaine Frybarger, Laura (Anthony) Thomas, Emily (Andrew) Arthur of Flushing, and Carolyn (Miles) Woodfield of Elyria, Ohio, as well as many nieces, nephews, and a great nephew, all of whom she loved as her own.

Visitation will be held at Adams Redmond Funeral home at 4100 S. Westnedge in Kalamazoo on Monday, October 21st from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with Rosary and sharing of memories at 7 p.m. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26th at St. Joseph Catholic Church , 936 Lake Street at 11 a.m.
