Ado Floreani

Ado "AJ" Floreani, a cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, at the age of 87 in Grand Rapids, MI. Born on May 7, 1937, in Chicago, IL, AJ's zest for life and infectious humor touched everyone he met. AJ dedicated over three decades to a successful career as an insurance salesman with AAA. In his retirement, he channeled his passion for craftsmanship into building homes. His work ethic was matched only by his commitment to his family, and he will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandy (Veverica) Floreani, his children, Derek (Tron) Floreani, Julianna (Dwain) Johnson, Jay Scott Floreani, his four stepchildren, and the numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immeasurable joy. An avid outdoorsman, AJ found solace and excitement in nature. Whether he was carving down a ski slope, gliding through water in his kayak, or enjoying a leisurely bicycle ride, he embraced every moment with enthusiasm. Traveling, golfing, woodworking, boating, and dancing were among his many interests. AJ's good sense of humor was as steady as his faith, and he was a devoted attendee of the Gun Lake Community Church. AJ's legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will be forever cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him. AJ's memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday January 3, 2025 at Gun Lake Community Church, Pastor Dan Beyer, officiating.
